We are an enthusiastic four-director practice established in the early 1900's, with offices in Timaru and Christchurch. The current directors, Richard White, Bill Baillie, Mark McMullan, and Hamish Moorhead all have many years business experience.

Our staff are a happy, motivated team who revel in the cut and thrust of the regular (in most cases at least monthly) client contact.

By helping our clients to succeed, we are able to continue to grow our client base and expertise in the many areas in which we excel.

The firm provides a comprehensive range of services. Our client base extends throughout Canterbury, and includes clients as far afield as Kaikoura, Westland and Otago. In an exciting development we recently amalgamated our Timaru practice with that of Garth Moore Chartered Accountant. The opportunity to expand our accounting and body corporate services in the Christchurch area is one that we relish.

Martin Wakefield is a founding member of NZ CA Limited - an association of independent chartered accountants practices with members located throughout New Zealand. There are 28 firms in 36 locations throughout New Zealand and Bill Baillie was a founder Director who retired by rotation in 2005.

NZ CA members have agreed to co-operate together to develop a national working relationship. Membership enables firms to access one another's skills and information whilst maintaining client confidentiality.

The firm is also a long time member of the International Association of Practising Accountants (IAPA) of which Richard White is a past International President. IAPA was established in 1979 to promote the particular benefits of using a medium sized accounting firm. It gives clients and members alike, access to the world of international business, accounting and taxation - and an alternative consulting and global support association provided by independent, medium sized accounting firms who care about your business and work in partnership with you to achieve your goals. IAPA now has a membership with offices in over 300 cities and business centres around the world.
